3: To place your order:
Please sign and fax or email the Quote form. If you are paying by Credit Card, please sign and fill out the credit card authorization form and fax or email it to us with the Signed Quote. We accept all major credit cards, checks (must clear before shipment) and wire transfers.
4: How long does it take to receive my order after it is placed?
We will generate approval drawings for the customer to sign off on. Most railing orders require 2 weeks minimum to ship after the approval drawings are signed off on and received by Nexan. Orders typically ship by a common carrier freight which will be up to a 53 foot trailer. The freight company will call you 24 hours in advance to schedule delivery. It is the customers responsibility to remove the railing from the truck. The railing boxes are banded and shrink wrapped to the pallet. It is usually best to cut the shrink wrap and plastic bands and unload the boxes individually off the truck. They can typically be handled by 2 people.
All shipments are insured. Please review all packages for damage. If any damage is present, note on the Bill of Laden from the driver what is damaged noting the description, quantity, length and color. Fax or email a copy of the Bill of Laden to us and we will ship replacements promptly. Any damages not noted on the Bill of Laden are generally not covered by the insurance.

Technical Information
Material: Railing components are 6005A-T65 aluminum which is about 30% stronger than typical 6063-T5 alloys.
Finish: Durable high-density polyester Powder-Coat finish. Meets AAMA 2604 standards.
UV Stable Powder Coat. No before and after color changes found with most composite deck products. Most composite products fade more in 3 months than FSI’s AAMA 2604 powder coat in 5 years.
Height: Standard heights are 36″ and 42″. Alternate heights available by request.
Glass: Standard 1/4″ Tempered Safety Glass meeting ANSI Z 97.1 2004.
Fasteners: Stainless steel fasteners are used throughout the railing assembly.
Code Compliance: Glass Railings meet national safety standards and the 2003 ICC International Building Codes. Codes do vary by city and county and is the customers responsibility to ensure the rail system will meet local codes.
Load Testing: Rails are professionally tested by an independent testing laboratory and Professional Engineers to meet international safety requirements. Typical testing requires the railings to pass 200 lb. concentrated loads, 100 lb. per linear ft. and 50 lbs in a 1 square foot area of the infill. Maintenance: Railings may be washed as needed with water and mild soap. Do not use acidic solutions, harsh solutions or abrasive cleaning materials or solutions as they could harm the finish.
